Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at collin@highpointoutdoorlighting.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

How much does permanent outdoor lighting cost in Omaha?

Most Omaha homes land between $4,970 and $11,010, depending on the size of your home, how much roofline you have, and the light spacing you choose. Every estimate includes all materials, professional installation, the controller, and full app setup. We offer three levels: Essential (16-inch spacing) runs $4,970 to $8,210, about $138 to $228 a month with financing. Signature (9-inch spacing) runs $5,610 to $9,330, about $156 to $259 a month. Premier (6-inch spacing) runs $6,570 to $11,010, about $183 to $306 a month. Closer spacing means a denser, smoother line of light. That works out to roughly $27 to $37 per linear foot of roofline on average; roof pitch, height and roofline complexity move the final number. Commercial projects are quoted separately and run higher. Use the estimator above for an instant range, or schedule an at-home demo and we will measure your home and give you an exact number.

Do you offer financing for permanent lighting?

Yes. We offer financing through Enhancify, which shops your application across a network of lenders so you can compare real offers instead of taking a single rate. The application takes about 60 seconds, starts with a soft credit pull, and 0% APR promotional plans are available to qualified buyers, with terms from 1 to 12 years and rates from 7.99% APR on longer plans. Most systems work out to roughly $138 to $306 a month on a 36-month 0% promotional plan, depending on the size of your home and the package you choose, subject to credit approval. Financing is a big part of why permanent lighting is worth comparing against paying someone to hang and remove seasonal lights every year, forever.

What areas around Omaha do you serve?

We serve Omaha, Elkhorn, Valley, Bennington, Papillion, Gretna, La Vista and Bellevue in Nebraska, plus Council Bluffs, Iowa. We come to you, so there is no showroom to visit. Schedule an at-home demo and we will bring a working JellyFish display case to your house so you can see the colors, effects and brightness up close, evenings and weekends included. Most people decide standing in their own driveway. Call or text us at (402) 507-9869.

What warranty comes with JellyFish Lighting?

Eave and roofline lighting carries a 5-year parts warranty backed by JellyFish Lighting, which also covers the controller and power supply, plus a 1-year labor warranty covered by us as your installing dealer. Landscape and patio lighting carries a 3-year parts warranty and the same 1-year labor warranty. The warranty period starts when your system is completed, and there is no product registration to fill out. You also get unlimited phone support from us during business hours for the life of the warranty. A few honest limits worth knowing: the warranty does not cover damage from storms, power surges, misuse, or unauthorized repairs, and it does not cover your home Wi-Fi network. It also stays with you rather than transferring to a future owner if you sell the home.

Is there a lower-cost option for a smaller home?

Yes. JellyFish now makes a 12-volt version of the same Mark 5 eave light, and it is the most cost-effective choice for smaller rooflines, roughly 150 feet or less, such as a ranch, a villa, or a front-elevation-only install. It uses the same color-matched track, the same app, and the same 9-inch spacing as our Signature package, with a compact controller sized for smaller homes. Larger homes, 6-inch or 16-inch spacing, and full showcase installs still use the standard 48-volt system. Tell us your roofline footage in the estimator or at your demo and we will quote whichever system fits your home best.

Can you light a dock, boathouse or lake home?

Yes. Lake properties are some of our favorite projects. We light boathouse rooflines, dock edges and walkways, boat lifts and the home itself, all on one controller and one app, so the whole property runs the same schedule and colors. The track and fixtures are sealed and marine-rated, and we plan the runs around ice, spray and seasonal water levels. We work throughout the Omaha-area lake communities, including Ginger Cove, West Shores, Carter Lake, Bennington and Valley.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, ACH bank transfer, checks and cash. Afterpay is available on payments up to $2,000, and Enhancify financing covers full projects. Deposits and balances can be paid online from the Make a Payment link at the bottom of any page.

About High Point Outdoor Lighting

White permanent LED downlighting under the eaves of a modern home and garage at dusk

Our Experience

High Point Outdoor Lighting is the lighting arm of High Point Roofing NE, a veteran-owned, BBB A+ accredited contractor serving Omaha and the surrounding region since 2019. We are an authorized JellyFish® Lighting dealer focused exclusively on permanent architectural LED systems, not seasonal holiday installs. We come from a roofing background, so eave and soffit work isn't a side skill — it's our core craft.

Our Values

We only do permanent, soffit-mounted architectural lighting, and we treat it like the exterior construction job it is. Color-matched track, protected wiring, clean soffit penetrations and straight runs are the baseline on every home, not an upgrade. We quote one clear number after measuring, we do not pressure, and we stand behind the work with a labor warranty and phone support for the life of the parts warranty.

Our Expertise

Our crews install custom JellyFish Lighting systems on homes across Elkhorn, Valley, Bennington, Gretna, Papillion and the Omaha metro. Because we come from a roofing background, we already know eaves, soffits, fascia and attic access, which is exactly where this product lives. We design each system around the architecture: zones for the front elevation, the entry, the garage and the back patio, so every occasion has the right look and every night has a clean architectural white.
